Ren Power: Building a Digital Marketplace for Nigeria's Solar Energy Ecosystem
Ren Power Group needed a digital platform capable of bringing together the different sides of Nigeria's renewable energy market. Rexta Technologies built a full-stack marketplace connecting homeowners, manufacturers, distributors and certified recyclers, with role-based access, custom quote requests, an administrative dashboard and an AI-powered support experience.

The original platform vision had not been successfully delivered by previous contractors.
Rexta had to work from the client's requirements and build the working product from the ground up.

Our Approach
We designed each of the four user types: homeowners, manufacturers, distributors and recyclers, as a distinct experience within the same platform, giving every stakeholder the tools relevant to their role.
The marketplace was built around a request-and-response quotation model rather than fixed pricing, reflecting how renewable energy transactions actually work.
Recycler profiles were given their own discovery pages so homeowners and distributors could find certified recyclers independently.
A custom AI assistant was developed to guide users through the platform, answer questions and support users who needed help navigating their options.
The administration layer gave the Ren Power team visibility into platform activity with the ability to export records for operational use.
Results
Ren Power launched with all four user roles operating within the platform.
The custom quotation system provides a structured way for customers and suppliers to connect.
The platform includes marketplace management, recycler discovery and administration tools within one system.
The AI chatbot provides an additional way for users to navigate and interact with the platform.
