Dubai Avenue Scents
Dubai Avenue Scents: Creating a Luxury Shopping Experience Without a Traditional Checkout
Dubai Avenue Scents is a Nigerian luxury fragrance brand offering a collection of rare 50ml scents. Instead of forcing the brand into a conventional cart-and-checkout model, Rexta Technologies built a WhatsApp-first commerce experience where customers select what they want, submit their order details, receive confirmation by email and continue the conversation directly with the brand on WhatsApp.

Challenges
The brand wanted the intimacy of WhatsApp selling without sacrificing the polish expected from a luxury brand.
A conventional shopping cart and payment gateway did not fit the way the client wanted to sell.
Orders still needed to be recorded reliably rather than disappearing into individual WhatsApp conversations.
The public storefront, admin system and backend needed to work together while remaining secure.
The experience had to feel simple for the customer even though the underlying architecture was more complex.
Our Approach
We designed the ordering experience around WhatsApp as the primary conversation channel rather than forcing the brand into a conventional cart-and-checkout model.
A smart ordering flow was built so customers could select their fragrance, provide their details and continue the purchase conversation directly on WhatsApp, without navigating a payment page.
Orders were structured to persist automatically so the business retained a clear record of every enquiry and purchase without relying on WhatsApp conversation history alone.
Automated confirmation emails were introduced so customers received immediate acknowledgement after placing an order.
A separate administration environment gave the team visibility and control over incoming orders.
The storefront was given purposeful movement and editorial presentation to reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.
Results
Dubai Avenue Scents launched with a complete storefront, administration system and backend.
Customers can place orders through a WhatsApp-first experience without navigating a traditional checkout.
Orders are retained in a structured database for the business.
Confirmation emails are sent automatically.
The platform demonstrates how a Nigerian luxury brand can combine personal selling with a properly engineered digital commerce system.
